U.S. Mint unveils coins for America’s 250th anniversary

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — We are getting our first look at the new coins that will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

The U.S. Mint unveiled new dimes, quarters, and half-dollars at the National Constitution Center on Wednesday.

Several coins feature images of Philadelphia landmarks, including Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell.

The coins will be issued for one year and will begin circulating in January.
