SAN ANTONIO – A man was allegedly attacked with a sword during a possible robbery.

The incident occurred shortly before 9 pm on Saturday on the 1300 block of West Southcross.

The San Antonio Police Department was called to the location and arrived to find a man with a severe facial injury. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Details reveal that the victim and suspect were acquaintances. The two met at the location to cash a check, but when the transaction fell through, the suspect became enraged.
