REEDSBURG, Wis. — The Reedsburg Area Medical Center held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday for its new La Valle Clinic, which will serve the La Valle community and surrounding areas.
This new clinic, located at S1429 State Highway 33/58 near the La Valle Telephone Cooperative building, is open Mondays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Basic on-site lab and primary care visits are welcomed, and there are future plans to introduce pharmacy support. Nurse Practitioner Amanda McAfee and Dr. Garret Tesman are seeing patients.
The clinic was developed through a partnership with the telephone cooperative as part of its new facility, creating a convenient, centralized location for community members to access healthcare.
Local leaders and community members gathered at the ceremony to celebrate this milestone and tour the new clinic.
The public has been invited to an open house next week Wednesday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.
