SAN ANTONIO — Two people were pronounced dead in a possible murder-suicide shooting at a North Side apartment complex, according to officials with the San Antonio Fire Department.
Fire EMS units responded around 8:45 p.m. Thursday to the 20600 block of Stone Oak Parkway.
According to SAFD, two people were pronounced dead on arrival (DOA) from a reported shooting. One person appears to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, officials said.
San Antonio police officers on scene said they were called for a shooting and upon arrival they discovered a male and female deceased inside an apartment. Both were suffering from apparent gunshot wounds but police did not confirm if any were self-inflicted.
Police said they’re not sure what led up to the shooting but it appears the two were dating. A caller who inside the apartment at the time of the shooting was the first to discover the victims and called 911.
The victims have not been identified as of yet but police did say the male victim was in his late-50s and the female in her early 60s.
The San Antonio Police Department continues to investigate the shooting.
