Three people were dead and four people were injured Friday following a multi-car crash at a Panorama City intersection.
The three-car crash was reported around 9:36 p.m. along Woodman Avenue and Cantara Street, LAFD said.
Three people were dead at the scene, LAFD said. At least one patient was extricated from one of the vehicles and taken to a nearby hospital; their condition is unclear. Three others were evaluated at the scene but declined treatment.
The deceased were described as a 30-year-old man, a 20-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman.
Authorities urge drivers to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
