The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2022 with an increase of 192%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at 1.7K tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2024, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, butanone exports surged to $1.9M in 2024. In general, exports showed a temperate expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2022 when exports increased by 257% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $2.6M. From 2023 to 2024, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for the United Arab Emirates.
