The Happy Fits are a staple for New Jersey, so their return to the tri-state area was a huge deal. Their music stands out as larger than life. With every chord they strum, they’re able to tell a full and captivating story. The band dropped their new album Lovesick, in September. It infuses all the genres the band have played with in the past while also expanding their core sound. It’s album of the year material (stay tuned for the official Aquarian year-end list dropping very soon)
In Philadelphia on December 11th, The Happy Fits headlined a show at The Fillmore. Fans were screaming all the lyrics at the top of their lungs. Their sound filled every inch of the venue. The energy the band gives to their music is truly unparalleled. Guitar, strings, drum fills, and multiple vocals are just some of the elements that make The Happy Fits what they are. The band has mastered the craft of writing hooks.
We interviewed the band a couple of months ago to highlight the new album. With our talented photographer, Anthony Vito Cosentino on assignment, please enjoy some shots from this spectacular night.
