The City of Scottsdale’s budget finished the first quarter of the fiscal year very close to staff’s predictions, according to a recent report by Budget Department Director Scott Selin to the city council.
The first quarter of the current fiscal year ran from July 1 to Sept. 30. During that time, general fund revenue finished 3% higher than anticipated and expenditures were 5% below budget.
