As the clock ticks toward 2026, North Texans have plenty of ways to ring in the new year. There will be dazzling parties, concerts, drone shows and fun for all ages.

Here’s a list of 13 New Year’s Eve events to attend on Dec. 31 in Dallas-Fort Worth. Also, make sure to check out the Go See DFW calendar as fresh New Year’s Eve events are added all the time.

BUCKIN’ NEW YEAR’S EVE AT COWTOWN COLISEUM

Kick off 2026 in cowboy style at the Fort Worth Stockyards. Head over to the Cowtown Coliseum for an exciting night full of bronco riding, bull riding and American freestyle bullfighting. There will also be performances by Gracie Yates, Carson Clay, Shelby Stone, Bottomland and Chancey Williams. Don’t forget the pyrotechnics display.

NEW YEAR’S EVE 2026 APRÉS SKI PARTY AT THE VILLAGE

Celebrate New Year’s Eve in mountain-inspired luxury. Attendees will get to dance late into the night to DJs and live performances, indulge in bites and signature cocktails and toast with champagne at the stroke of midnight.

DALLAS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA: NEW YEAR’S EVE

Start the new year on a high note while listening to a classical performance by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.

LEVITY B2B HAMDI AT SILO DALLAS

Dance the night away at Silo Dallas’ New Year’s Eve Party. It features a set by EDM artists Levity and Hamdi, plus a balloon drop. This party is for ages 18 and up.

10TH REUNION TOWER NEW YEAR’S CELEBRATION

In honor of New Year’s Eve, Reunion Tower will come alive with an elaborate light display. Watch over 5,000 pyrotechnic special effects launched from Reunion Tower, a stunning 259 LED light display and 500 drones.

TUPPS BREWERY NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATION

Head up to McKinney and check out TUPPS Brewery’s New Year’s Eve celebration. The event is free, with food and drinks available to purchase. Local band The Flannel Pajamas is performing, and there will be fireworks. Earlier in the day, there will be a 2 p.m. countdown for the whole family.

EMERALD CITY’S ROCK THE 26 NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY AT TOYOTA MUSIC FACTORY

Expect an electrifying New Year’s Eve bash during which the Emerald City Band will rock the stage at The Pavilion at the Toyota Music Factory. The pre-opening act will be Lover. A percentage of each ticket will be donated to Wipe Out Kid’s Cancer.

DETAILS: Dec. 31 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Toyota Music Factory, 316 W. Las Colinas Blvd., Irving. Tickets start at $85.

DJ DIESEL’S COTTON BOWL NEW YEAR’S EVE

DJ Diesel, aka basketball legend Shaquille O’Neil, will be throwing down sick beats during the Cotton Bowl New Year’s Eve party. Watch the Cotton Bowl game during the day, and then party when the clock strikes midnight.

GRANDSCAPE 2026 NEW YEAR’S EVE BASH

This free event ends before the clock strikes midnight. Watch performances by DJ Shaun and Jordan Kahn Orchestra. There will also be New Year’s freebies, a lashes and glitter bar, face painting, airbrush and glitter tattoos, and photo ops.

NYE AT HARVEST HALL

The fifth-ever New Year’s Eve celebration at Harvest Hall will feature karaoke, DJ Positive and a buzzy booth. All of the restaurants are open, so you can enjoy a bite at the festivities.

FORNEY 2026 NEW YEAR’S BALL DROP CELEBRATION

Watch the ball drop in downtown Forney and enjoy the nighttime celebration. There will be food trucks, live music and drinks.

DETAILS: Dec. 31 from 8 p.m. till past midnight in downtown Forney. Free.

MEOW WOLF COSMIC CABARET, A NEW YEAR’S EVE EXPERIENCE

Explore Meow Wolf Grapevine after hours during its Cosmic Cabaret. It will feature a night full of performances by Nightshade Burlesque and Circus Bitties. Also find an experimental crossover between virtual and physical performance called Peppercast. Other fun activities include tarot card readings and music by local DJs.

FORT WORTH MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND HISTORY NOON YEAR’S EVE

Explore this fun activity for the kids to do during the day on Dec. 31. Kids can take pictures, do arts and crafts and participate in special New Year’s activities. It culminates as guests gather in the atrium for a big confetti drop at noon.

DETAILS: Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, 1600 Gendy St., Fort Worth. The event is included with museum admission.
