He hopes you had the time of your life.

Mayor Eric Adams buried a time capsule at City Hall Tuesday to celebrate himself and his four years in office — a gift to people a whole 10 years in the future.

Hizzoner and his deputies stuffed the “Adams Administration Time Capsule” with items from his administration including a padlock used to shut down illegal weed shops, a key representing his “City of Yes” housing policy and a piece of an NYPD drone.

“The time capsule will be sealed and buried right here for New Yorkers to open in 10 years and look back at one of the most transformative periods of our city’s history,” he said in the rotunda of New York’s City Hall.

“I’m ready. I did what I had to do. I left everything I had on the Ice,” he added, as moving trucks lined Park Row, and movers packed up his belongings.

Adams contributed a vinyl record meant to word play on the “records” he broke during his mayoralty — while First Deputy Mayor Randy Mastro opted for a bike speedometer – showcasing the admin’s work to bring down e-bike speed limits.

Adams thanked his staff who stuck by him throughout trials and tribulations – most famously his 2024 federal bribery indictment that was later dropped by the Trump administration.

“There’s been ups and downs. And when you look from the outside, you think that all our team may have done is frown,” Adams added. “No, we laughed a lot.”

Immediately following a ceremony, the capsule was brought outside of City Hall’s east entrance – where a slab of stone was dug up and a plaque identifying the spot was fastened to the steel fence outside of the complex.

While Adams hasn’t yet made public what his next career move will be – he is slated to fly Mexico Tuesday evening and later to Europe, according to sources.

When asked what he plans to do on his trip, Adams replied, “Drink single malt scotch and have fun.”
