Earlier this year, TikToker @asabove_sobelow111 discovered a Canada goose hanging out on their farm alongside the ducks, chickens, and goats. Everyone seemed to get along just fine, and the family assumed the goose would eventually move on. More than eight months later, though, she’s still there, and officially part of the farm family.
They named her Goosie, and she’s now a part of the duck flock, doing everything they do. She sleeps in a warm coop, gets her meals delivered, and enjoys constant companionship. Honestly… why would she ever want to leave?
We laughed after reading @asabove_sobelow111’s caption, “Not gonna lie, I would too LOL!” We don’t blame her one bit for choosing the good life over living in the wild!

Commenters Funny Reactions to Goosie Moving In with the Ducks
Viewers left more than a thousand comments about the goose and ducks, and some of them cracked us up. Like @Eleana’s CCC, who got more than 11,000 likes when she shared a screenshot of Goosie in the heated coop and said, “This is niiiicccee!”
@softballmom32 spoke the truth when she shared, “She said I was not meant for the streets, give me the heated coop, meal service, spa days, my girlie pop gang, and I’m good.”
Commenter @Laura T shared a similar story and made us all laugh, “My dad once found a lone Canada goose while fishing. He got right up to it with the boat, and it let him pick it up. He drove back to shore, where he checked it for injuries. He put it in his truck and took it to my uncle’s farm. Jimmy (named after my dad) never left the farm, and for years he tormented my cousins as the MEANEST barnyard goose ever.”
@Kyra Dawn shared, “More than likely, she lost her mate, and geese mate for life. She’s getting a second chance at companionship that she may not get in the wild. Historians will call them roommates.”
Kyra’s right. The family shared a video back in August introducing Goosie and sharing her story.
While we all want Goosie to find another mate and bond with them again, we love that the family said they’ll always be there for her, no matter whether she decides to stay or go!
