University of La Verne alumni Sgt. First Class (ret.) Orlando Jackson recognized as Hero of the Game at Crypto.com Arena

Alumni, students, families, and friends came together to celebrate community and University of La Verne pride during ULV Night at the LA Kings on Saturday at Crypto.com Arena. The matchup against the Calgary Flames featured a special tribute to ULV alumnus Sergeant First Class (retired) Orlando Jackson, who was honored as the Hero of the Game. Jackson served in the U.S. Army for 21 years before enrolling at ULV, where he majored in legal studies and later became a certified paralegal.
