Pokémon Go’s 2025 “Winter Holiday Part 1” event has kicked off, running from Dec. 18-24. As usual for holiday events, we’re seeing the debut of two Pokémon in festive attire: Sudowoodo and Charjabug (and yes, the costumed Charjabug can be evolved into a costumed Vikavolt).
The event bonuses hinge on how far you get in the Go Pass: Winter Holiday 2025. As you rank up, you’ll get doubled XP for sending gifts, additional items from gifts, and 50% more XP from raid battles. If you get the premium version of the pass, you’ll also unlock doubled Stardust from gifts, halved egg hatch distance, and doubled XP from catching Pokémon.
Below, we list the other perks for Pokémon Go’s “Winter Holiday Part 1” event, including the Field Research, spawns, and egg hatches.
