USA. Dallas Fort Worth International Airport has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for 14 retail and dining locations across multiple terminals.
The airport company said it is “seeking local brands and flavours that represent the best of the North Texas region”.
F&B concepts include fast casual, fast food and grab-and-go plus frozen treats and popcorn, while cosmetics and speciality retail units are also available.

The RFP is open for submissions until 2 February 2026, and includes 11 food & beverage opportunities and three speciality retail locations across Terminals A, B, E and F.
The airport encourages local and small business participation via the Small Business Enterprise Concession (SBEC) programme. Resources for responding firms, including outreach presentation materials, upcoming pre-proposal conference details and a partner-match database for businesses looking to team with others, are available on the DFW Concessions page. All proposal submissions must be made through the Bonfire Procurement Platform.
The latest packages come to market as traffic continues to increase sharply; Dallas Fort Worth is the third busiest airport in the world (ACI), having served 87.8 million travellers in 2024, with its growth rate of +7.4% last year higher than Atlanta and Dubai, ranked first and second
“As we build new gates, reimagine existing spaces and construct a new Terminal F, DFW Airport is committed to showcasing our region through our shops and restaurants so that when people travel through our terminals, there’s no denying they have arrived in the heart of Dallas and Fort Worth,” said Chief Revenue Officer Ken Buchanan.
“DFW serves tens of millions of travellers each year, and this is a chance for local businesses to help create an incredible sense of place within our terminals.”
Dallas Fort Worth Airport welcomed around 87 million customers in 2024, with volumes projected to surpass 100 million passengers a year before 2030.
The latest RFP opportunity comes as the airport continues to make progress on its US$12 billion capital improvement plan, DFW Forward, which is transforming terminals, expanding gate capacity and enhancing the customer experience.
In addition to the new Terminal F, the airport is rebuilding Terminal C and expanding gate areas in Terminals A and C – projects that the airport company said will “introduce modern spaces, new amenities and a stronger platform for small and local businesses to grow”. ✈
