PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker delivered her State of the City address on Friday, reflecting on her second year in office and looking ahead to a major year ahead.
Speaking at the Temple Performing Arts Center, the mayor detailed progress on some of her key initiatives.
Among them, a continued focus on violent crime, as 2025 is now on track to see the lowest number of homicides since the 1960’s.
Parker also said the city is in a good position for 2026, which will see several major events play out in Philadelphia.
