Morocco flag carrier Royal Air Maroc will launch Casablanca-Los Angeles service on June 7, flying the route three times per week on a Boeing 787.

It will be the lone nonstop route connecting the U.S. West Coast with Africa, and it will be Royal Air Maroc’s only U.S. route beyond the U.S. East Coast. The carrier currently flies to New York JFK, Washington Dulles and Miami, all from Casablanca.

In a strategic vision laid out in 2023, Royal Air Maroc detailed its ambition to add Casablanca-Los Angeles by 2027 and Casablanca service to San Francisco, Chicago and Boston in the following decade, as well as nonstops between New York and Marrakech and Rabat.

Royal Air Maroc is a Oneworld alliance member.
