PHILADELPHIA – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Philadelphia after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in the city’s Northeast section Friday night.

Police say the crash happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Whitaker and Wyoming avenues.

Investigators say a female pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while crossing the intersection. The driver did not stop and drove away from the scene after the collision.
