The younger sister of Kate Middleton, as she does, kept it on trend with a new bob, debuted at the British Grand Prix on July 6 alongside husband James Matthews. The Mirror called Pippa’s haircut “her shortest bob to date,” and at Silverstone wore her hair tucked behind her ears “to show off her stud earrings,” the outlet added.

Pippa wore a white midi dress from Usisi Sister (with a daring split up the skirt), a suede tan jacket by Sezane, and a pair of lace-up wedges by Castañer to the event—the first time she’s been seen in a public capacity since Kate’s annual “Together at Christmas” carol concert at Westminster Abbey, which took place in December of last year. Pippa also added the royal favorite sunglasses brand Finley & Co. to complete her look for a day at the racetrack and carried a bag by Emmy London.

Right around a year ago—July 14, 2024, to be exact—Pippa joined the Princess of Wales and her daughter Princess Charlotte for an emotional appearance at Wimbledon, which marked Kate’s second appearance of the entirety of 2024 as she navigated her cancer journey. As Pippa is keen to live a private life with her husband and their three kids Arthur, Grace, and Rose, Pippa’s supportive appearance alongside her sister was especially poignant. For that occasion, Pippa wore another royal favorite brand, a pink floral dress by Beulah London.
“They were already genuinely best friends, but this grueling year has seen them grow even closer,” a source said of Kate and Pippa, per The Daily Express. “Pippa has been something of an angel and backbone for Catherine. She’s there at the drop of a hat, helping to pick up the slack on physical tasks when needed. But it’s the emotional support she provides that’s invaluable to Catherine.”

Pippa herself spoke of her close bond with her sister in 2014, three years after Pippa shot to fame as her sister’s maid of honor when Kate married Prince William on April 29, 2011.
“I mean, obviously she has pressures that she’s taken on and things,” Pippa told NBC at the time (via Hello!). “But we spend a lot of time together. We still do a lot together as a family. We have a very normal, sisterly relationship. We’re very close. And, you know, we support each other and get each other’s opinions and things.”
