Looking for the perfect place to cheer on new beginnings?

Several New Year’s celebrations will soon take place across Fort Worth and Tarrant County. 

From free champagne to balloon drops, here’s where you can ring out the old across Tarrant County:

Celebrate with your family at ‘Noon Year’s Eve’

Countdown to the new year kid-style by taking pictures and participating in special activities. A big confetti drop will happen inside the museum’s atrium at noon. 

When: 10 a.m.-noon

Where: Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, 1600 Gendy St., Fort Worth

Admission: $12-$16

Shaquille O’Neal hits Arlington stage to spin hits all night

Shaquille O’Neal, aka DJ Diesel, welcomes 2026 with his Cotton Bowl NYE show. He will spin hits in front of large 100-foot screens. The venue will pop champagne at midnight.

When: 1 p.m.-2 a.m. Dec. 31

Where: Texas Live!, 1650 E. Randol Mill Road, Arlington

Admission: $64-$89

Welcome New Year’s in the heart of downtown Fort Worth

Sundance Square will light up the night sky with fireworks and invite local musicians and street performers to take to the stage. 

When: 5 p.m. Dec. 31

Where: Sundance Square Plaza, 420 Main St., Fort Worth

Admission: Free

Bid adieu to 2025 with elegant Arlington dinner

Think about your New Year’s resolutions while enjoying a meal at Loews hotel’s steakhouse Cut & Bourbon. The restaurant’s executive chef has whisked up some great dishes, including a Seared Gulf Snapper Oscar, Roasted Duck Breast and Elk Chops à la Bourguignonne.

When: 5-10 p.m. Dec. 31

Reflect on how it’s been a ‘Hell of a Year’ with Parker McCollum

One of country music’s biggest artists will perform a special New Year’s Eve show alongside special guests Jake Worthington and Jarrod Morris. 

When: 7 p.m. Dec. 31

Where: Dickies Arena, 1911 Montgomery St., Fort Worth

Admission: $44-$245

Say howdy to 2026 at ‘Buckin’ New Year’s Eve’ 

Enjoy a night of bronc riding, bull riding and freestyle bullfighting as the Stockyards buck off 2025. The arena will light up with pyrotechnic displays as the clock strikes midnight. 

When: 8 p.m. Dec. 31

Where: Cowtown Coliseum, 121 E. Exchange Ave., Fort Worth

Admission: $61-$113

Step into sparkly dimension at ‘Cosmic Cabaret’

Meow Wolf Grapevine will transform into an intergalactic space full of art, music and celestial celebration in honor of New Year’s Eve. There will be special performances from Nightshade Burlesque and Circus Bitties. The event is for ages 21 and up. 

When: 8 p.m. Dec. 31

Where: Meow Wolf Grapevine, 3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway, Grapevine

Admission: $44

Feel the music as Dylan Gossett sings into the new year

The American country singer will perform his biggest hits, including “Coal” and “Beneath Oak Trees.” Guests can sip on champagne and enjoy four different balloon drops at midnight. 

When: 10 p.m. Dec. 31

Where: Billy Bob’s Texas, 2520 Rodeo Plaza, Fort Worth

Admission: $34-$100

Southside bar hosts intimate celebration instead of large party

Nickel City will have balloon drops and a live DJ at their New Year’s Eve celebration. The Near Southside bar is asking guests to “leave downtown to the amateurs.” 

When: 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Dec. 31

Where: Nickel City, 212 S. Main St., Fort Worth

Admission: Free

Raise your glass at Second Rodeo Brewing

Meet up with your favorite people to enjoy the tunes and stay for the brews. There will be complimentary champagne while supplies last.

When: 11 p.m.-2 a.m. Dec. 31

Where: Second Rodeo Brewing, 122 E. Exchange Ave., Fort Worth

Admission: Free
