According to authorities, this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.
FORT WORTH, Texas — One person was killed Monday after a shooting in east Fort Worth, police say.
According to the release, police responded to the 7400 block of Snow Ridge Dr just before 2:30 p.m. in reference to a shooting.
Officers found a man that had been shot in the torso, authorities say. The victim was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
Police say there is no suspect in custody, however, they believe this was an isolated incident and there is no known threat to the community.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identity of the victim and official cause of death once next-of-kin has been notified.
Homicide detectives are still investigating what led up to this shooting.
