The Lost Souls Rugby Football Club wrapped up the holiday season on Friday, Dec. 19, with its annual toy drive, hosted at the Dallas Eagle.
With the help of players, supporters, sponsors and community partners, the drive ensured that every student at Adelfa Botello Callejo Elementary School in Dallas received a toy this holiday season.
Adelfa Botello Callejo Elementary “serves a diverse hardworking community, many of whom benefit greatly from added support during the holidays,” according to a press release from Lost Souls Rugby. “For the Lost Souls, the goal was simple but powerful: Make sure every child felt seen, included, and celebrated.
On Dec. 19, players from the Lost Souls Rugby Football Club, “joined by a festive “elf” from the Classic Chassis Car Club, delivered tables full of toys directly to the school,” the press release said. “The donation included a wide variety of items to ensure something special for every student.

“Then this week, as students prepared for winter break, each child received a toy, turning the generosity of the broader Dallas community into tangible moments of joy,” the press release continued.
Lost Souls Head Coach Todd Maria said, “We are incredibly thankful for our players, supporters and sponsors who continue to show up year after year. This is about more than rugby; it’s about being present, giving back and strengthening the community we’re proud to be part of.”
Team President Aaron Hilbert added, “The Lost Souls Rugby Football Club remains committed to service both on and off the pitch, continuing a tradition of inclusion, generosity, and pride throughout Dallas.”
