While Arizona grocery stores sell alcohol, they’ll be packed this holiday with frantic shoppers securing their Christmas hams. So skip the fuss, and head to the Valley’s liquor stores and bottle shops. These specialized drinks destinations are ready to help fuel your holiday fun.
Most are open on Christmas Eve, however, some have limited hours. On Christmas Day, you’ll have to look a little harder. That’s where we come in. Here are the Phoenix liquor stores that are open on Dec. 24 and 25.

Phoenix liquor stores open on Christmas Eve
Total Wine & More will have adjusted hours on Christmas Eve, opening at its regular 9 a.m. and closing two hours early at 8 p.m.
BevMo is open on Christmas Eve with adjusted hours from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Valley locations of local liquor store Trevor’s Liquor will be open on Christmas Eve from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Costco is open on Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sam’s Club is open on Christmas Eve from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Phoenix wine bar and bottle shop Sauvage will be open for retail sales on Christmas Eve. Pick up a bottle between noon and 4 p.m.
While Trader Joe’s is a grocery store, its wine selection is so good, it just might be worth braving the crowds. Valley Trader Joe’s stores will be open on Christmas Eve from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Phoenix liquor stores open on Christmas Day
Valley locations of BevMo will be open for limited hours on Christmas Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Trevor’s Liquor stores will be open on Christmas from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
While not specifically a liquor store, Walgreens convenience stores might have just what you need for that last-minute hosting gift. Stop by for a bottle of wine or a case of beer from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Day.
CVS stores are open, with similar offerings, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Day.
