PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Police are looking into how a man was killed outside of a supermarket in north Phoenix earlier this week.
Officers responded to the Fry’s store at Tatum and Shea boulevards, near Paradise Valley, on Monday around 8:15 a.m. for a call of a person who was injured.
When officers arrived, they found a man who was then pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified by police as 36-year-old Zachary Hostetler.
Detectives responded to the scene to investigate Hostetler’s death. On Tuesday, the medical examiner’s office ruled this case as a homicide.
No details were available on how Hostetler was killed. This remains an active investigation.
