SAN ANTONIO —Two brothers were taken to the hospital after police say a domestic dispute on the Far East Side turned violent.
Officers were called around 4:20 a.m. on Christmas Eve to a home on Brigade Bend off of Interstate 10.
Police said a man and woman were fighting at the home when the man took off in a vehicle with a child. The man came back to the home with the child and the dispute continued, escalating when the woman’s two brothers got involved. After a heated exchange, the two brothers began beating up the man.
The man then pulled out a knife and stabbed both brothers in the chest and stomach area in self-defense, police said.
Both brothers were taken to a nearby hospital and are expected to be ok. The man was treated at the scene for his injuries after sustaining a brutal beating.
It’s unclear any charges will be filed in this case.
