SAN ANTONIO —Authorities are searching for a suspect who allegedly dragged a federal agent during a vehicle chase that ended in a crash on the Northwest Side.
The crash happened Wednesday morning near the intersection of Old Grissom and Culebra Road.
We’re told a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) trooper attempted to stop the suspect’s vehicle but they refused to stop, leading to a pursuit. The suspect then drove about 100 feet and allegedly dragged a federal agent before crashing.
The suspect fled into a nearby wooded area. San Antonio police officers, DPS, and immigration agents could be seen responding to the scene.
We have reached out to multiple law enforcement agencies for more information and are waiting to hear back.
It’s unclear anyone was injured.
