Massachusetts health officials issued a warning Wednesday about possible exposure to measles in locations visited by an infected tourist earlier this month. According to the Department of Public Health, a visitor from Texas arrived in the area on Dec. 11 on Airlines flight 2384, and departed on JetBlue flight 117 on Dec. 12. Two doses of MMR vaccine are 97% effective at preventing measles and provides protection against mumps and rubella infection,” said Dr. Bisola Ojikutu, Commissioner of Public Health for the City of Boston.
