I’ve already highlighted a stellar Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra deal for shoppers in the UK, but what about those of you in the US? Well, there’s good news a bad news.
The good news is that there are a handful Galaxy S25 Ultra deals live at Amazon right now. The bad news is that these deals only apply to a few color variants. Right now, you can pick up the 256GB model in Titanium Gray or Titanium Whitesilver for $1,099.99 (was $1,299.99), and the 515GB model in Titanium Whitesilver or Titanium Silverblue for $1,208.38 (was $1,419.99). The 512GB Titanium Black model is on sale, too, for a slightly higher $1,219.99.
Be warned: it might look like all color and storage variants of the Galaxy S25 Ultra are on sale, but if you look closely, you’ll see that these variants are dispatched by third-party retailers (specifically ReNew Pros and DNCL-TECHZONE), and not Amazon or Samsung.
As mentioned, we’re not saying that you should never purchase products from these sellers, but they likely operate under different shipping standards and returns policies, which could pose a problem if you’re not happy with your purchase.

We’ve been full of praise for OnePlus in recent years, and for good reason. Many of the best OnePlus phones now feature on multiple buying guides across TechRadar (see our ranking of the best camera phones and best cheap phones), and both the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13 earned 4.5 stars in their respective reviews.
Both devices are currently on sale for record-low prices at Amazon ahead of Prime Day, and I don’t think these deals will be further improved during Prime Day proper. Grab ’em while stocks last.

One for the big Samsung phone fans in the UK: the Galaxy S25 Ultra is now on sale at Amazon for £1,199, which is a neat saving of some £150.
For a phone that’s still pretty new and very, very powerful, that’s a great price cut.

In general, there’s not a huge amount of phone deals around at the moment. But I’d expect more to pop up once Prime Day (or should that be week?) kicks in properly.
Deals to look out for are those on older iPhones and Google Pixel phones, neither of which you can really go wrong with, owing to their stellar longevity.

If you’re in the UK, Amazon has discounted both the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus by £100 ahead of Prime Day proper.
We consider Apple’s latest base model to be the best iPhone for most people in 2025 due to its compact size, A18 chipset, excellent cameras, and future-proof software compatibility. If, however, battery is your number one priority, then the 6.7-inch iPhone 16 Plus is hard to beat.

If you’re in the market for a top-end mid-range phone this Prime Day, look no further than the Google Pixel 9, which is currently available for just $449 (was $499).
Granted, this 10% discount isn’t the biggest deal we’re expecting to see this week, but since the Pixel 9a already offers so much value at full price, it’s still one worth highlighting. What’s more, the 256GB model is also discounted by $50, from $599 to $549.

How about some early iPhone accessory deals? In today’s mile-a-minute world, it can be easy to lose track of the small things – and I mean that literally, as well as metaphorically. Apple’s AirTags are a great way to keep tabs on the whereabouts of your seemingly anthropomorphic keys, wallet, or suitcase, and Amazon has the single-pack at just $22.98 / £28 right now, and the four-pack for a record-low $67.99 / £92.

Check the seller information

My first piece of Prime Day deals advice: always check the seller information underneath the ‘Buy Now’ button.
Amazon hosts third-party sellers from all over the world, and while the vast majority of these sellers will be legitimate businesses, some may operate under different shipping standards and returns policies. For that reason, we’ll only be recommending products dispatched by Amazon directly or the brand of the product in question.
In the screenshot above, for instance, you can see that this Samsung Galaxy A16 product dispatches from a third-party retailer called Direct Communication. Now, we’re not saying that you should never purchase products from these sellers, but we can only guarantee a certain standard of service from Amazon and official smartphone brands like Samsung.
