Suri Cruise may be the spitting image of her mom Katie Holmes, but the 19-year-old also shares the Dawson Creek alum’s distinct eclectic-meets-normcore sense of style. While heading home to New York City for the holiday break, Suri showed she’d inherited her mom’s fashion sense as the pair coordinated in off-duty red and green looks on Christmas Eve.
In photos shared by Page Six on December 24, the college student had fans doing a double take as she ran errands with Holmes on Wednesday. Suri—whom Holmes shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise—could be seen wearing a dual-toned forest green North Face puffer jacket with a black accent on the chest and collar. The Carnegie Mellon University sophomore layered with a light gray hoodie and pulled her dark brown hair up in a ponytail, emulating her mom’s beloved character Joey Potter. She added a pair of Y2K-coded flared dark wash jeans, which showed off her brown suede boots. Suri held a takeout coffee mug and a dark red woven leather jacket as she walked.

Meanwhile, Holmes gave her girl-next-door aesthetic a pop of festive color. Holding some packages in her arms, the star—who’s currently filming Happy Hours with former co-star Joshua Jackson—bundled up in a cream midi-length peacoat that she paired with a matching taupe knit beanie. Holmes added a white shirt and a holiday hue with a pair of bright red pants. She finished off her look with black flat shoes and a black handbag.

While Suri has been away at college, she was spotted visiting her mom on the Happy Hours set this summer. On August 7, the teen looked like her mom’s mini-me as she wore a white cropped tank top with khaki cargo pants and a dark brown leather belt. She wore her hair down in a sleek straight style and added a pair of bright red shoes. Meanwhile, Holmes appeared to be in character as she sported a vivid blue patterned silk bathrobe, jeans, and tennis shoes. She wore her brown hair in a messy bun, holding a script in her hand as the pair chatted.
