SAN ANTONIO – A hit-and-run on the city’s Southeast Side resulted in a pregnant woman and a teenage passenger being sent to the hospital.
The incident occurred Wednesday night at approximately 11:33 p.m. at Pecan Valley Drive near the IH-37 South access road.
According to SAPD, a Jeep Compass, traveling westbound on Pecan Valley, was struck by a Toyota Camry attempting a northbound turn onto the IH-37 access road. The Camry failed to yield and fled the scene, leaving the Jeep occupants injured.
The Jeep driver, a woman who is six months pregnant, and her passenger, an 18-year-old, sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
SAPD later located the Camry driver, who was arrested.
