Valley Metro teams with Molson Coors for free New Year’s Eve rides in Phoenix, ensuring safe celebrations and reducing traffic concerns.

PHOENIX — As you look to celebrate the new year, Valley Metro is teaming up with Molson Coors Beverage Company to offer fare-free rides on New Year’s Eve.

The City of Phoenix said the fare-free rides are a long-standing tradition, part of the Free Rides program.

From 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31, to 2 a.m. or the end of service on Thursday, Jan. 1, Molson Coors will help Phoenix residents and visitors celebrate the start of 2026 responsibly by offering complimentary rides on Valley Metro.

If you plan to attend any New Year’s Eve festivities, the city is encouraging people to take a free ride to or from their celebrations across any of Valley Metro’s transit lines.
