A funeral service for the past L.A. Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple Buddhist Women’s Association (BWA) president, Tsuruko Iwohara, 95-year-old, Hiroshima, Japan-born Issei, who passed away on October 16, 2025 in Montebello, Calif., was held under the auspices of L.A. Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple BWA on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at L.A. Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
