PHOENIX — A driver fled from a traffic stop and proceeded to hit a parked in central Phoenix on Friday morning, authorities said.
According to Arizona Department of Public Safety, troopers attempted to perform a traffic stop on the car in the area of Fifth Place and Rose Lane for civil traffic violations around 4 a.m.
Instead of stopping, the motorist fled and hit a gray Tesla Model Y, which was parked.
DPS said the driver then took off on foot and is still outstanding.
No other information was provided.
