Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa are celebrating Christmas as a big, happy family.
On Thursday, Dec. 25, the HGTV stars shared photos and videos on Instagram showing how they rang in the holiday with their son Tristan, 2, and Tarek’s children with ex-wife Christina Haack, Taylor, 15, and Brayden James, 10.
Heather kicked off her Instagram Stories showing the sweet surprise she set up for her toddler as he woke up to find a line of toys leading up to the Christmas tree. Tristan could be seen picking up all the toys as he noted that there was “more” to be found with each one. She then shared a photo of him playing with one of the toys he received.
The realtor also shared a series of adorable family snaps, including one of her hugging Tristan and of the toddler being lifted into the air by his father in front of the Christmas tree. She also showed a clip of the family on a walk with their son and their family dog as Heather noted that they were “waiting for Tay and Bray.”

It appeared that the two kids eventually arrived as Heather shared a snap of Brayden opening his gifts on the couch as his father Tarek relaxed nearby. Heather wrote over the photo, “Sweet Bray.”
As the kids basked in their Christmas gifts, the adults appeared to have a celebration of their own. In one clip Heather shared, in which she also tagged Haack, she could be seen encouraging her husband to open up a bottle of champagne lightly.
She also shared a look at their Christmas feast, which included steak and pita bread, and concluded her Christmas snaps with a shot of Tristan lying on a blanket on the floor after the festivities were done. She wrote over the photo, “he had one of the best days of his life.”

Haack also shared a video to her Instagram Stories showing Brayden unwrapping one of his gifts from her, which included a Simpsons shirt that said, “Bart Rules!!!” He could be seen laughing as his brother Hudson, whom Haack shares with ex Ant Anstead, peeked at the gift from over his shoulder.
Last year, Tarek and Heather celebrated Christmas alongside Haack, so that all three kids could spend the holiday with their parents. On Christmas Eve in 2024, Heather, 38, shared videos on her Instagram story showing her and Tarek driving with their son to Haack’s house.
Heather tagged Haack in the video, during which she could be heard playfully asking Tarek, who was in the front seat, “Daddy bear, where are we going?” Tarek responded, “To Christina’s house to celebrate Christmas.”
Haack, 42, later reposted Heather’s story, adding a playful caption, “He sounds excited 😜.”
The family has been sharing snapshots of how they celebrate holidays together throughout the year. On Thursday, Nov. 28, the couple shared a series of photos on Instagram as they celebrated the joyful holiday with their blended family.
The former Selling Sunset star later shared pictures of the blended family of five posing for a Christmas family photo on Instagram — though Tristan didn’t look too happy to be on camera.
“Well… we don’t always get the best photos when you have a crazy 🤪 toddler, sometimes this is as good as it’s gonna get!” the proud mom shared in her caption, adding, “We love our little family so much!”

Tarek, 44, and Heather tied the knot in October 2021 in Montecito, Calif. The Selling Sunset alum told PEOPLE in June that she has considered having another baby with Tarek.
“It’s no stress for me, raising kids and being a mom. It’s the least stressful thing in my life and fulfills me so much. Why would I not want more of that? It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever done,” Heather said. “So I think that’s kind of your answer right there. But, yeah, I still would love another one, but it has to fit into our life. It’s a huge change, and you have to be really ready for it.”

In October, Heather shared a video on Instagram of Tristan’s first time shopping in-person at a supermarket.
The clip showed the toddler sitting inside of the shopping cart looking around the store, pointing at things he wanted and grabbing items off the shelf. “Tristan’s first grocery trip and my first since 2020… 😂 where are my other Instacart girlies at?!” the proud mom wrote in the caption.
