GLENDALE, Ariz. — A collision reported in the West Valley at around midnight on Friday has resulted in the death of a 46-year-old woman.
Glendale police responded to reports of an unconscious person on the roadway near 91st Avenue and Camelback Road, east of the Loop 101. Upon arrival, officers learned a vehicle had struck a woman and the driver remained at the scene.
Police said the woman died from injuries sustained in the crash. Her name has not been disclosed.
The incident remains under investigation.
