The Washoe County School District (WCSD) is set to host a series of recruitment fairs throughout July, inviting the community to explore employment opportunities within the district. The events will take place at Dilworth Middle School, located at 255 Prater Way in Sparks.

The career fairs are scheduled as follows:

  • July 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., focusing on elementary school positions.
  • July 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., focusing on middle school positions.
  • July 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., focusing on high school positions.
  • July 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., open for all positions.

WCSD staff will be on hand to assist prospective employees with applications, provide support, and answer career-related questions. The district is actively recruiting for a variety of teaching and educational support roles, including special education aides, school volunteers, transportation budget and analytics technicians, utility crew custodians, HVAC shop supervisors, speech language pathology assistants, and nutrition services staff.
