FORT WORTH, Texas – Authorities in North Texas are on the hunt for two men accused of a brazen attempt to steal an ATM, all captured on surveillance footage.
Police near Fort Worth reported that the suspects arrived at a 7-Eleven in a stolen SUV. The video shows one suspect tying a cable to the ATM inside the store.
The driver then accelerated, causing the ATM to crash through the store, dragging shelves and items with it.
It reportedly took two attempts for the suspects to fully remove the machine from the store.
The ATM was later found dislodged from the vehicle nearby, and the SUV was abandoned.
