The Orthopedic Institute of Pennsylvania plans to open a new clinic in York County.
OIP will open the new outpatient clinic in the UPMC Memorial Outpatient Services Building at 1703 Innovation Drive, Suite 3136, in West Manchester Township, near York.
The new clinic will open on Feb. 1.
The clinic will provide outpatient orthopedic services and an orthopedic injury walk-in clinic for urgent care. Patients seen at this location who need surgical procedures will be scheduled at UPMC Memorial hospital.
“Combining the expertise of OIP and UPMC ensures patients receive the advanced, comprehensive care needed to treat even the most complicated musculoskeletal conditions,” Dr. Ronald Lippe, orthopedic surgeon and partner, OIP, and, chairman and medical director of orthopedics, UPMC in Central Pa., said in a news release.
Earlier this year, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and OIP formalized a strategic partnership. Orthopedic specialists at the UPMC and OIP offer services for the full musculoskeletal system and care for patients with traumatic injuries, arthritis joint pain, bone fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, and soft tissue injuries.
OIP has locations in the Camp Hill, Harrisburg, Carlisle, Hershey, Millersburg and Newport areas.
