BENBROOK – Robert Dale Rowley, age 89, of Benbrook, Texas, passed away on December 23, 2025. Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Greenwood Funeral Home in Memorial Suite B, 3344 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Funeral Service: 9:30 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2026, in Greenwood’s Live Oak Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107; with burial to follow in Tolar, Texas. Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for four years. Following his military service, Robert built a distinguished career with more than fifty years of experience in civil engineering, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his profession. Outside of work, Robert greatly enjoyed the outdoors. His hobbies included hunting and fishing, and he especially cherished the years he spent coaching baseball, sharing his time and love of the game with others. Robert was preceded in death by his beloved parents; his wife, Peggy Alexander Rowley; his wife, Sharon Gamblin; his son, Robert D. Rowley Jr.; and his siblings, Donald Rowley, Carolyn Ross, and Jimmy Rowley. He is survived by his daughter, Lee Ann Leonard, and her husband, Billy; granddaughters, Jennifer Rowley and Crystal Daffan; great-grandson, Tyler Torres; and great-granddaughter, Ashleigh Garza, and her husband, Isaiah. Robert will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew and loved him.
