Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call in Haslet on Friday night.
HASLET, Texas — A man was shot by sheriff’s deputies in Haslet on Friday night, according to officials.
The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) said its deputies responded to the 14000 block of Oak Bark Drive at approximately 10:50 p.m. Friday for a domestic disturbance call. When deputies got there, they detained a man, and then another man inside the home was shot by deputies, TCSO said.
Deputies immediately began life-saving measures on the man who was shot, and he was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to TCSO.
TCSO said the deputies involved in this shooting have been placed on administrative leave, per department policy. The Texas Rangers will conduct an investigation into the shooting, and their findings will be submitted to the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office.
Neither man, nor the deputies involved, were identified by TCSO.
