Star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum is visiting schools to preach the importance of getting an education. The St. Louis native might not be able to get on the court for the Celtics just yet, but he is making an excellent use of his time rehabbing from a torn Achilles tendon sustained in the 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs by promoting learning to young students and fans of his.
“Everybody should dream as high as they possibly can,” said Tatum as he tours schools across the wider New England region to encourage local students to make getting an education a priority for the future. He even explains how active listening and teamwork are skills he picked up in school.
