Stay energized through the holidays

  • December 28, 2025

The holidays are busy, and skipping meals or grabbing sweets on the go can leave your energy crashing. Instead, I want you to keep quick, healthy snacks on hand that combine protein and fiber—like nuts with dried fruit, cheese with whole-grain crackers, or Greek yogurt with berries or even a granola bar. Keeping these nutritious snacks on hand is one way to help your body stay energized with the correct fuel.

Step two, stay hydrated. Fatigue often feels like hunger, and even mild dehydration can slow you down. Liquid IV or other electrolytes can be a great addition to your day as well.

When it comes to parties, eat a balanced snack before you go and focus on variety, not perfection. Fill most of your plate with colorful foods, then enjoy a small portion of your favorite treat.

Small habits like these keep your energy steady, your mood up, and your holidays a lot more enjoyable. For more tips, tricks and recipes you can find me at Fareway.com
