PHOENIX (AZFamily) — It’s a cool start to your morning in the Valley for your Monday with temperatures in the 40s and 50s.
Plan on a beautiful day with highs in the mid 70s in Phoenix under partly cloudy skies with breezy to windy conditions. We could see 20-30 mph winds today in the Valley.
There are changes on the way this week just in time for the new year. We have a First Alert Weather Day for Thursday, New Year’s Day, with around a 50-70% chance to see rain in the Phoenix area.
We could see some rain the night before, but it looks like the bulk will fall Thursday and even continue into Friday.
Temperatures will remain above normal this week in the mid 70s and upper 60s. Our average high for this time of year is 65 degrees.
We will hold onto only slight rain chances for the first weekend of 2026. Highs will be quite nice, only running five or so degrees above normal.
Have a great day!
