LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Athletics have signed outfielder Tyler Soderstrom to a seven-year contract, the largest deal inked in franchise history.

The deal runs through 2032, with a club option for 2033, the team announced Monday.

ESPN reported last week that the A’s and Soderstrom reached an agreement on an $86 million contract. The deal includes escalators that could push the contract value to $131 million, per ESPN.

Soderstrom batted .276 with a .346 on-base average and .474 slugging percentage over 158 games this past season. He also hit 25 home runs and drove in 93 runs.

He joins Lawrence Butler and Brent Rooker as A’s players under contract through at least 2028, when the team is expected to relocate to Las Vegas.
