The Arc of San Diego’s annual Winter Wonderland Fashion Show and Luncheon took place Dec. 5 at The U.S. Grant Hotel, featuring the theme “Shimmer & Glimmer.”
The event included a silent auction, boutique shopping and a runway fashion show produced by style personality Leonard Simpson.
The Winter Wonderland event raised $240,000. The Arc of San Diego also announced a gift of $100,000 from the David C. Copley Foundation to support early intervention services to help children with autism and developmental delays.
Ballroom dance champion and television personality Mary Murphy returned as the event’s emcee.Maria Stanley, Laura Applegate, Cici Drummond, Erica Ram, Malissa Sanfilippo, and Jenny Seligmann chaired the event.
The Arc of San Diego serves over 2,000 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome, annually.
