KERRVILLE, Texas – Help is still pouring in from across the state to help in the aftermath of deadly flooding that has affected the Hill Country.
One of the people who has headed to Kerrville is Houston rapper Trae Tha Truth.
Trae is among volunteers searching debris for signs of life following the flood. He says the conditions are tough, but the mission is clear.
“Safety first and foremost, a lot of these slopes are super steep so there is a chance we may be able to get down to some spots, there’s a chance we might not be able to get right back up from some spots,” Trae says. “It’s just real dangerous, you have snakes and other things, you know, but at the end of the day we’re trying to do whatever we can to make sure these kids get found, the ones who are missing are at least accounted for.”
Trae says they are also sending a truckload of supplies to help families affected in the area.
