The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office said the man began talking to the 14-year-old on a social media site before moving to text messages.

YAVAPAI COUNTY, Ariz. — A Phoenix man has been arrested for luring a 14-year-old online, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office. 

Aaron Salazar, 55, of Phoenix, began communicating with the 14-year-old through a social media site before shifting to text messages, YCSO said. 

Salazar is a registered sex offender currently on probation in Maricopa County.

Salazar was arrested in Phoenix and taken to the Yavapai County Jail in Prescott and booked on charges of Luring a Minor for Sexual Exploitation.
