Charlie Cummings gives his top DraftKings WNBA Pick6 plays and projections for the two-game WNBA slate on Tuesday, July 8th.

WNBA action on Tuesday will kick off at 11:30 a.m. ET. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will examine my top Pick6 plays for today’s action. You simply choose whether each set statistic will be more or less than the set number. With the stage set, here are my favorite picks on the WNBA slate.

Angel Reese More Than 32.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

On the last edition of my Pick6, Angel’s P/R/A line was at 31.5. She smashed that by racking up 16 points, 17 rebounds, and 6 assists. Now the line moves up.

Her streak of dominance is continuing. That’s a five-game stretch where she’s averaging 17 points, 17.4 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. She’d clear this 32.5 line just on points and rebounds alone if the recent stretch holds. Washington rookie and All-Star Kiki Iriafen is an excellent rebounder and post defender in her own right, and will pose some problems. But with how hot Angel has been, I’m not sure if anyone can stop her from recording a massive stat line.

A’ja Wilson More Than 10.5 Rebounds

Rebounding has been a struggle for A’ja Wilson as of late. She’s averaging nine rebounds per game, her lowest since 2020. It says a lot about her absurd production that nine rebounds per game is a slump. But that’s the standard she has set for herself. The MVP has recorded single-digit rebounds in five of her last six games.

I expect a turnaround in this contest. The Liberty are without their best rebounder and defender in Jonquel Jones. Without her, there’s nobody to stop A’ja from attacking the glass on both ends of the floor. That, combined with New York’s offense taking a step back without Jones, is enough for me. It’s time for A’ja to get back into double digits.

Sonia Citron More Than 13.5 Points

Washington boasts an impressive pair of rookies. And now the WNBA All-Star Game will reflect that. Both Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen will play amongst the best of the best in less than two weeks, and they earned their spot. Chicago will be the next team to learn why Citron is a problem.

Citron has an incredible ability to shoot off the ball. No angle or distance will deter her from taking a shot. The former Golden Domer is hitting 38% of her 4.4 three-point attempts per game. Sonia has more to her game than just shooting, but the immediacy of the shot translation has made her so good.

Ariel Atkins is the best perimeter defender on the Sky. She’ll spend lots of time chasing Citron around, and it’s a tall task. Give her an inch and she can take it a mile. With the lack of quality elsewhere on the Chicago defense, I expect a productive night from Sonia.

Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of 2+ players and select whether or not you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.

How to Play

Create a Pick Set

Create a Pick Set for Pick6 by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice, and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
