Dallas police have blocked off the 1600 block of Commerce Street in a standoff with a wanted felon barricaded inside a vehicle.
The standoff began around 3:45 p.m. when officers responded to an assist officer call at the location.
Police have set up a perimeter and are asking the public to avoid the area as the situation remains active.
