A busy day on the Marvel front, starting with a rumour from scooper Daniel Richtman who claimed that Marvel Studios is eager to have Jordan Peele (“Get Out,” “Us,” “Nope”) direct a movie set in the MCU.

That speculation has been around for some time, but all of a sudden Peele’s own production studio, Monkeypaw Productions, has weighed in by quoting the post and responding with an emoji of a pair of eyes looking on.

The scooper is also claiming that one of the fights we may see in the film will involve Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man facing off. Both actors have been rumoured, but have yet to be confirmed for the film.

Next up, GQ spoke with Tom Hiddleston ahead of the return of “The Night Manager” series and asked about his work as Loki in “Avengers: Doomsday”.

He confirmed his “contribution has been contributed” and then says: “It is monumental. The centre of the story is absolutely brilliant, and was so surprising when I read it. It just has never been done before.”

Events of the film pick up after those of the second season of “Loki” with the character now sitting in the Citadel at the End of Time where he powers the newly recreated Multiverse. How he fits into the story will be revealed in December next year.
