A serious crash involving the light rail shut down service in Phoenix. (KSAZ-TV)
PHOENIX – Police and firefighters are at the scene of a crash involving a light rail train on Tuesday morning at a Phoenix intersection.
What we know:
The crash happened on Dec. 30 at Indian School Road and Central Avenue.
According to Valley Metro, B line trains are unable to travel between the Central Avenue/Camelback Road and Thomas Road/Central Avenue stations due to the crash.
“At this time we recommend riders use bus route 0 to travel between these stations,” Valley Metro said.
What we don’t know:
Police have not released any details on possible injuries or what led up to the crash.
